High-Level Conference 2026: The Right To Be Forgotten as a Human Right
Ending Financial Discrimination Against Cancer Survivors: The Right To Be Forgotten as a Human Right
On 21 October 2026, leading voices from across Europe will gather in Brussels for a full-day High-Level Conference dedicated to ending financial discrimination against cancer survivors and advancing the Right to Be Forgotten for cancer survivors.
Organised by Dr Françoise Meunier and co-organised with Professor Mark Lawler, the conference is an associated event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
The event will bring together policymakers, legal experts, healthcare professionals, researchers, patient representatives and other key stakeholders to accelerate action on the Right to Be Forgotten across the EU and reinforce the principle that life after cancer is not only a health policy issue, but also a matter of equality, dignity and fundamental human rights.
Participation is free of charge. Attendance will be confirmed following registration.
