The Belgian House of Representatives unanimously approved a law proposal to extend the right to be forgotten. The key changes are: – Cancer survivors will no longer have to disclose their cancer history 5 years after cure; – The right to be forgotten is extended to travel insurance; – Insurers are now obliged to inform customers of the right to be forgotten.
Belgium is leading the way in protecting cancer survivors’ rights. Let’s work towards similar measures across Europe!
